Lamb/BiggsB Win 25hrs of Thunderhill

Dec 2, 2007 - Willows, CA - After 25 hours of intense racing, BiggsB Enterprises found themseles on the top step of the podium at the end of NASA’s 25 Hours of Thunderhill race. Drivers Todd Lamb, Andrew Caddell,  David Bahr, Kim Wilcox, and Charles Mathes piloted their Mazda Miata #55 to 13th position overall, and first in class.

While logging 605 laps around Thunderhill Raceway Park with 16 pit stops, the team led by crew chief Doug Clark and Bluegrass Biggs managed to avoid any mistakes, penalties, and on-track incidents.  “I am amazed at how well the team worked together to make this happen.  All of the drivers did a great job, and the car prep on the Mazda was fantastic. I am thrilled to win the 25 Hours in my first visit to Thunderhill,” commented Todd Lamb.

BiggsB Enterprises only fielded one car for the event, which allowed them to put 100% of the focus into preparing the single car effort.  Despite many multi-car teams, BiggsB finished 3 laps up on second place, and just 56 laps down from the overall winner in a Daytona Prototype.

Lamb said after the race, “I have to thank BiggsB Enterprises for the opportunity to drive for a first class endurance team, and my crew and co-drivers for getting us to the end of what seemed like a never-ending race. After the bad luck I’ve had in endurance races this year, it was good to win the longest race in club racing.” More team coverage can be found at www.livefromthe25.com.  Todd Lamb will have his NASA Championship winning Mazda Miata on display at the PRI trade show in Orlando, FL Dec. 6-8, and will be attending Mazda’s MX-5 Cup Shootout in CA on Dec. 13th.
